hi charbax. thanks very much for all the great stuff about archos. anyway, i hope you can come out with a review of the 250gb archos 70 (compared to the 8gb version) and include the following issues (comparisons) in the review: battery life, performance (app running performance, UI speed, and loading speeds), and heat. i guess these are the most important issues, unless there are other differences under the hood yet to be discovered. TIA

I’ve been waiting for this tablet since it was first announced. I think it really went overlooked here in the States. Another benefit, if I remember the specs correctly, is that it can work in USB host mode, right? So, your comments about using an SD card to move items from Droid X (your example, and, actually, my phone) to the Archos could be addressed by simply putting the Archos into USB host and plugging in the Droid X. Is that correct in practice?

If I can use this for music and photo storage, and offload to external HD or Droid X as appropriate, this is a huge winner.

I look forward to seeing more hands-on videos of this device and how this looks compared to the devices we see announced at CES, as well as what kind of reviews this gets 3 months from now when its in the hands of a few more consumers.

Thanks for all your great work, CB.

Seriously? You won’t answer a question (really more like a request for confirmation of information) about something you said in a hands-on video in the comments section of that video’s page? Ok.

I don’t feel compelled to join a forum for a product I don’t own to find this out, I’m satisfied to let the question go unanswered for now. Thanks again for the good info in this vid and your other Archos coverage.
