Archos 70 and 101 Internet Tablets are now available in the USA

You can now buy the following tablets on the Archos USA store:

Archos 70 Internet Tablet (8GB) $275 (click Store, top right) (250GB version for $349, coming soon)

Archos 101 Internet Tablet (8GB) $299 (click Store, top right) (16GB version for $349, coming soon)

Archos 43 Internet Tablet (16GB) $249, coming soon

Archos 32 Internet Tablet (8GB) $149

Archos 28 Internet Tablet (4GB) $99 (8GB version for $119, coming soon)

    It’s been “Notify me” all day, I don’t see how that is considered available. I know amazon and jr.com are taking orders though but jr.com is pre-order and amazon says it ships in 4-6 weeks.

    I purchased the 70 Internet Tablet (250GB model) from the Archos website on 11/03/10. If it’s “available” again, then I want them to ship mine!

    I’m believing that the Archos101 and 7 are in available in microsize quantities less than 5. Sure I see Leo Laporte holding one that was provided by Charbax and that unit was provided by Archos for the sole purpose of promotion. but go actually try to buy one from a retailer. I just came from my local Best Buy and they did not have any Archos tablets to display. Now I have no doubt that it is available in Europe and the UK they can ship much quicker to those countries. As far as the US is concerned I would say that your not going to see them before Jan 2011. If the product is not in the store by Thanksgiving weekend it will not be available for the Christmas holidays. I’m on several retailers notify me email list and have yet to get one telling me that the product is available. Please reply back if you actually got your hands on either a 7″ or 10″.

    If Archos is releasing these things one at a time, I’m not getting a warm fuzzy about them like I should. This has the potential to be HUGE and if they can’t provide the basic unit, what does that say for tech service to the unit?
