I hope i can install a new OS
most of the videos i put on my archos stop after a while because of *corruption*. If archos put more time into a good prouduct and less into hackproofing, they would dominate in the tech community

That is great news! Just bought my Archos 5 IMT a few weeks ago and would love to run Andriod on it. I think I will wait a little while to see what develops.

Yes, all those Linux OS could soon run nicely on the Archos 5 and 7 Internet Media Tablets.

Does this mean older Archos 5′s can be upgraded to Android in the future? If so that would be great and possibly move everyone to the same OS.
